Great work last night. Congrats on getting your footage distributed. These “warming climate storms” are terrifying, so little time to prepare. Feel extremely sad for the coastal devastation and then moving north to yield flash floods and tornadoes. So happy you and your “crew” stayed safe.

@@aliciadonae It's a good idea anytime you choose to take extreme risk as a courtesy to the coroner's office and to give your family closure. A body can be awfully hard to identify after it's been under water for a few days.

Were you down here for Ida? If you think this is bad, (and it was don’t get me wrong) you should’ve seen how bad it was for Ida. My whole town looked like it had just been hit by a 50 mile wide ef2 tornado.

This ended up being a weird storm. It held together and continued to increase in strength after making landfall instead of the rapid decrease that we usually see with tropical systems once they get over land. Luckily for those in the area landfall happened almost exactly at the peak of low tide. The storm surge and flooding would have been much worse had that not been the case.
