you missed the really fast method in 3d world thats slightly to the left of where you did it, you get 99 lives in around 10 seconds or less

In smbw you can follow the shell and get 5 lives, 6 if you jump on the shell after it hits everything

There’s a faster way in Mario 3D land. You have to go in the little hole with the koopa and then it gets lives WAY faster

In super Mario World you can do a trick in that secret area where you switch to a fire flower as You hit the block with your cape. It duplicates the life x6. You can also do an infinite air stall with wigglers later in the game

I believe it’s the first level in mario world where you can go into a pipe jump off yoshi and hit the 1 up block go backwards and repeat the process that may be faster

amazing video! but just pointing out something really quick, in 3d world, you can get to 99 live a WHOLE LOT quicker. just take the shell in 1-2, go to that little cave opening to the left of where you did it, throw the shell, crouch jump, and you should be at 99 in about like maybe in 60 seconds!

In super, you can jump on the koopas and have a few out of there shell for 2 enemies (koopa and shell)

In SMW you could find a block with a 1-up and duplicate it with a koopa shell. I don't know if that fully works, however.

in Spuer Mario World, you can actually get 99 Lives in about 11 minutes because there is a strick you can do in Valilla Secret 2 that nets you about 50 lives and each cycle only takes about 30 seconds
