I have a chunk of Gadolinium and it definitely becomes more ferromagnetic after its been in the freezer, maybe more then cobalt. My understanding is that it becomes ferromagnetic around 68F. It would be interesting if a ferrofluid could be created from the powdered metal or some compound of this metal that retains some of its magnetic properties. Maybe in this form it could be used in some thermal magnetic system where the change of magnetic susceptibility could assist in moving heat. Just a thought. Also an aqueous ferrofluid could have some use.

you could coat a carbon plastic with that make it look like metal very well.

I finally had a pinch of time to watch the entire video. Thanks so much for the "shout-out" about my analogy of graphene to composites as salt is to cooking, Adrian. Wonderful to see Dr. Tomou interviewing you! Aphrodite's clever, and she's a natural as well.

Maybe some interesting materials were created at the Chernobyl meltdown. Corium is one that comes to mind. Lead titranate. Barrier isolating of plasma containment. High frequency and compression. Electro ceramic peizioelectric properties to shield.
