I have an 89 bronco. I have many plans for it in the distant future and I want to know if the dana 44 front end will hold up. If not is it possible to upgrade to a dana 50 without changing the ttb? Yes I know that would be easier but I will be moving the lower mounting points for the knuckles to fix the camber after the lift in the next year.

Still want to see more 78-79 bronco parts being reproduced too!!!

Hi Jeff! We found that those seat cushions will fit 87-91 full size too. We replace the drivers seat cushion on our 87 full size, you just have to remove & replace the hog rings. We also found that they fit in our 1990 Bronco II as well. We went ahead & replaced the drives side in that one too. Great video 😉 thanks for the highlight!

Proper technique- tighten inner nut to about ~20 FOOT/lbs (while rotating hub), then back off 1/2 turn, then retighten to ~20 INCH/lbs (while rotating, until there is very slight resistance to spinning, you don't want it to wobble at all, but also you don't want much resistance to spinning), outer (jam) nut torque to (I've read different specs) 130 to 150 FOOT/lbs. ***Use green locktite on the outer (jam) nut. Or use the Stage8 X-Lock for $100 per wheel***. Using over sized tires causes the issue with it backing off and coming apart while you are driving home from the mountain trail. It also helps to modify the lock washer by adding some weld to the washer tab, then reshaping so it fills the slot better. Failure to not set preload properly will also contribute to issues. And the spindle can get worn out and need replaced if you have constant issues with the lock nut coming loose. Fortunately broncograveyard has spindles for a reasonable price, other places want 4x as much.

Well that was about the most useless video, no mention of torque specs or techniques to get it done reliably, convenient this is linked from a web site selling the stage8 x-lock which will compensate for such a terrible installation as shown in the video.

I have a 1967 f100 factory 4x4 with a dana 44 3.54 gears ( I did take off the cover to make sure like you said to do here if i wasn't sure) and it said dana 44 and then the 46.13. So, my question is it has the four-bolt kingpin like you're saying the dana 30 here in you video has. I do have one more question can one swap the 1971 bronco dana 44 axle into a 1967-1972 ford half ton f100? I was told that the bronco used the front axles from the half tons pickups from the 60s an 70s. I wonder what the dimensions are for the wedges and coil spring mounts cause if those are the same I bet it would work.

Guys I am looking for a part and open to suggestions. 1996 F150 the fuel filter holder/mount. Its the big "C" clamp that the OEM fuel filter snaps into. It is on the left frame rail just behind driver position. I bought a truck and its missing this Filter retainer/holder. I Can't find it on Ebay either.

Why are you NOT measuring between U-joint center to center . you have explained measurement from top of outside rear cup to center of cup, opposite end ?
