How do you prevent them from climbing out - on the ride side with the rock wall and the dead tree leaning up on it. I would assume they can climb the dead tree and land on top of that faux rock wall. It looks like you maybe have some kind of barrier on top of those rocks but I can’t really tell. One of my biggest issues is trying to create my own barriers which usually end up being rock walls, but realistically, animals can climb/jump rock walls.

The macaques should 100% be named after mountains in asia! names like: Makalu, Manaslu, Everest, Lhotse As Well as Hakone, Shibu, Gunma which are all hotsprings in asia For the last monkey onsen meaning hotspring in japanease Or are they too complecated? Just some ideas!!

WOW, this turned out great! Adding that extra pool of water really did a lot for the habitat. I love that the macaques have doors to their backstage at the top of the rocks as well as the larger opening at the bottom that the keepers can use too! Thanks for showing the enclosure off in the winter as well :)

Your choices are very deliberate while decorating the habitat.. How do you plan? Especially about the logs or foliage?
@guntersgaming9 күн бұрын
I usually just have a few tricks to fill in empty areas, I’m not a fan of just empty ground so I always feel the need to put something there. The log is my favourite cause I feel it looks a bit natural, but you can put rocks or stumps or bushes as well to get the same feel. I hope that makes sense? I normally have a small plan sketched out but it’s more for the major features like pools of water or entrances to the back stage area.

I started watching this series today. Best day for your cozy videos with your friendly voiceover. However, please rearrange your videos in your playlist in ascending order - oldest first. Right now the newest is first and if I wanna go in sequence, I am manually selecting each video. I might sound like I am complaining but I don't know, the comfort of auto play in the right sequence definitely will elevate the experience ❤

And I love the barrier too, simple but nice and stylish, love how it's broken up from being one big mass using those triangle shapes, simple but effective! Can't wait to see more of this new area of the Sakura Zoo!

Love the rocks in here- the way you do them is really nice. The climbing structure is nice too! Your talk of Toronto and Red Pandas had me thinking of the movie Turning Red, so why not go with the names Jin and Meilin for them? Their story would be that they were from a Wildlife park in Canada that had to shut down and ended up giving their Red Pandas to Sakura Zoo. Love the zoo so far!
@guntersgamingАй бұрын
Thank you! Its taken some practice but improving for sure 😂. I really like the backstory you have, having them in Canada just makes sense, sending them back to the natural environments! Also those names ❤

I love how the habitat turned out! A cool backstory for the red pandas could be that an illegal roadside zoo nearby got closed down, and they were looking for a home for some of the animals, so the two red pandas were moved to Sakura Zoo!

The idea that bactrian camels are well adapted to Canadian weather makes full sense, but is not something i would have expected! The habitat is great, seems to allow a lot of visibility, and using upside down bamboos as a little fence or screen is a gamechanger! i've never seen anyone do that before but i have to keep it in mind for when i play again
