I have similar issues with 14T and Audi. 😢 I got info in the car : the smartphone interface was deactivated. It comes from time to time on the start up of AA app and you never know if it will work.

Like many others, my attempt to buy one at the moment it was released for sale was a fail. I was allowed to add it to my shopping cart but was then notified that it was out of stock. I have since been able to purchase one on the open market but it was significantly more than $1. :)

Ya, the DisplayPort Streaming kit works great. However, it's let down by poor fresnel lens, lack of better quality Qled screens with local dimming, poor vertical FOV, and an outdated chip. Maybe Vive will release an improved VFV2 in the future. I preordered a VFV w/DP and ended up returning it for a refund. I've gone back to using my QPro with a Link cable for complex flight sims and my Q3 for everything else (standalone and wireless PCVR with Air Link).
