I’m in a terrible reading slump. I only read 3 books last month and nothing this month. I keep picking up books but they just don’t do it and I have looked everywhere for this book I want to read for free but it isn’t available and I don’t have enough money to buy it.

I’m so sorry, being in a reading slump is terrible especially when you have a certain book in mind and can’t get it! Make sure you are utilizing your local library and Libby, as well as used book websites and BookBub can also tell you when a book goes on sale! Even seeing if you could borrow it from someone 🥲 also make sure to not be hard on yourself about how much you are reading, it’s okay to fluctuate in your reading habits and you are still a reader no matter what ❤️❤️❤️ best of luck to you 📚🥰✨

Yes! I just read Carrie Soto is back by Taylor Jenkins Reid and really enjoyed that one! I also just started A Discovery of witches and I believe it’s single POV and it’s good so far! That is more of a fall vibe!

Its hard when you don't like a popular book because the people who are diehards can make you feel like you shouldn't get to have an opinion on the book and thats why i mostly stay away from popular books.

Yes!!! For me it’s like, I’ve had a bad day and I don’t really have time to go to Barnes but I’m going anyway (usually 20mins before they close) and I’m just going for the vibes. But usually I buy a book because it makes me feel better 😂📚✨ and then we aren’t there long enough for the husband to get restless but enough for me to get a boost! 😂😂😂😂

I think it might depend on the location but sometimes they have other buy one get one 50% off books at the checkout. Once time I was buying some books and couldn’t find another one in that category and then I was pleasantly surprised that they had some options at the checkout
