Fun, Moodies music and album cover show. Was listening in the late sixties and have never stopped. They can always lift you up to the Voices In the Sky.

Nice to see a young Robin Trower in the pics. This was on the juke box in my local when it came out. The landlord hated it, so us wags would always make it part of our selections. He would hear it ten times a night. Drove him crazy!! Ha ha. Good times.

Every Good Boy Deserves Favour is my favorite Moody Blues album. It’s just great! I hate that most of the band members are gone but we still have John and Justin. ❤

The sound of the mellotron even live is amazing. I had this album but mostly listened to the +5 part. Like Ling Summer Days and King and Queen. I've seen them live.So I know they're good live. I saw them with pinder in seventy one. And then with patrick Moraz, and the long island philharmonic in eighty six. At the Jones Beach theater.

It's impossible to pick a favourite song from this album and I don't think the attempt should even be made. Like every iconic album this starts off appropriately with an invitation to come along for the ride on the see-saw - because a ride it is!

This song popped into my head just now and I couldn’t for the life of me remember which band sang the song. I was surprised to learn The Who sang it. Now to look up which year it was released. 🤗 ETA: released in April ‘67.

One of their best. Somehow Phil Collins plays the many odd time-signature parts with such groove it's unbelievable. Mike Rutherford is such an underrated, yet incredible bassist and guitarist.

Superior and older than both bands. The Moody Blues were original acid music.

My wife I met by way of our mutual interests in the Moodies. We spent hours on an apartment room floor listening to their record albums. Mike Pinder and his mellotron made this sound so special. One of their better albums of their first 7 that were released for sure. Album covers were a trip back then. Each band member contributed. We still have those very same albums on unscratched vinyl in our cabinet. Keepers for sure. Aging into our early 70's. Thanks for posting Chris.

Always and forever, one of my favorite groups, each of their recordings were one of a kind masterpieces. Familiar, but each LP was so much different from the last. They never copied anyone, but many tried to copy them. I wish their music was used more in movie soundtracks . I've seen many of the legendary groups that sprung up in the 60 s. But sadly I missed seeing M.Bs. in concert.
