i cant belive the name "grave" wasent taken before this band. also proud of their Gotland heritage since i also come from the island. Such a small place, yet so much influence along with Dismembred and Entombed.

This album right here is way better than anything that Mayhem, Darkthore or Burzum ever put out. Peace land hail black metal

If you want similar technical thrash metal from the 1980s, the Australian thrash metal band released a demo called Spectral Birth - Raze. Their sound is similar with crunchy guitars with some technical work riffage.

I saw this band perform at the Whisky a Go Go when we had the thrash metal revival in Los Angeles from like 2004-2010. A minor masterpiece of a jam. My favorite band was always Sakrificer followed by Merciless Death.

Still here in 2024, amazing thrash metal 🔥

I first heard about Grave from a color ad on Metal Maniacs magazine. Then I heard Wes play You Are Deformed on his Houston show Sweet Nightmares or his other show From the Depths. It's heavy asf. I could listen to Leprosy and this back to back the sick vibe would continue.

i know Dead sang on this but , if you know Necrophagia , he sounds alot like Killjoy from that band

In my opinion dead is amazing vocalist but in meyhem he didn't ahow his full potential and he was mentally bad in that time ,so that's why here he has better sounds of vocals maybe he was more comfortable in his own band who knows

Wow, this demo is amazing from start to finish, they were so young at the time and they managed to create something fabulous in my opinion. I haven't stopped listening to them, I would have loved to be at the right time and at the right time to see them live. I am fascinated.

That fucking production man. This is what Death Metal was glorious back then, that abrassive and punchy sound. This is one of the complains that I have with this genre sometimes, there are good bands but have a bad production sound. But things like this, is the exception.

C'est un fabuleux album de Death Metal Viking comme seule la Suède sait le produire, "you'll never see" défonce aussi, ces deux albums sont d'ailleurs dans mon top 40 de mes albums favoris de Death Metal. L'album "souless" m'avait beaucoup déçu. "Grave" s'était selon moi rattrapé avec "burial ground". Je conseille l'écoute des albums sensationnelles de Bloodbath et d'Entrails (encore du Metal Suèdois à son meilleur, oui la perfection fait partie de ce monde). Unleashed aussi c'est du très bon. Merci d'avoir publié ce joyau de Death Metal.
