The only aircraft that has such a deep ghostly cutting saw. It actually creates its own atmospheric sound surround echo in the sky that can make an entire city stop what its doing and look up. Like its an independance day alien invasion.

Damn! Just amazing! This 104th squadron used to be located at the former Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod as the 102nd. Think they were moved to Barnes in 2007 due to some Base Realignment Plan. You must have had special clearance to get this close. Duffy and Nasty... the 2 F15 pilots from Otis were scrambled to New York on 9/11. Roared right over our house... rattling the windows. Certainly miss that "Sound of Freedom"!!! Got some very unprofessional F14 and F15 videos shot with a handheld Sony Minicam on my KZbin channel Terry B iii under the Airshow playlist. Thanks for posting these beasts. Miss them!!!

You're welcome Terry! Yeah, the F-15s of the 104th FW came over from the 102 FW at that time and replaced the A-10 fleet at Barnes. In 2026, the F-15s on the base will be replaced by F-35 Lightnings, as you probably heard. The Lightnings will be great to see, but the Eagles and the power of their two turbofan engines with afterburners will be missed by many I'm sure. I checked out your videos on your channel. Great to see the F-14 and B2 in flight. Loved the vapor coming off the B-1. Thanks for sharing!

Well that’s different. I’m gonna assume this happened today as it snowed here last night and I’m about 15 minutes away from Barnes so I think it’s a fair guess. Also heard jet engines earlier so that may give it away too
