I liked but it doesn’t show that i did. I liked how you played through the song first and then showed it slow and then explained without a lot of other talk. Straight to the point and boost time. Thanks

Thanks very much it's been very helpful I really can't decide and I'm seriously considering Thomastiks despite their exoense. I have never heard a bad review and they are used right across every genre of mandolin playing at every level. They also have great longevity, which their fans say offsets the cost. What do you think? I'd be really interested to hear. Take care, from England.

@@davidmolloy126 never used the Thomastiks. I have settled for XT D'Addario and not the XS. It's the best replacement for the Elixirs so far I have tried. I find they stay better in tune then the XS, they settle faster when being installed and don't sound as bright.

They call this hybrid style or Travis Style named after Merle Travis. Not to be confused with the 3 finger Chet Atkin style. This technique mostly used by Country Music electric players. 😊
