What kind of bait did you use for tuna ? And does live bait work at night ?

Yeah live bait works at night too..we use live sardines,mackerel..but most of the time we caught them on jigs..flat fall jigs,knife jigs..tuna daytime fishing that’s when we used mostly live bait like sardines and flying fish for kite or balloon for big tuna

That fish worked you hard, but fun to watch. One suggestion so you don’t struggle, is to back off your drag a tad when going around people or things then bump back up. Makes life easy.

Ill be on the Coral Sea in 2 weeks. How much weight were you using on the dropper loop and what size hooks did you use?

At that time were using live sardines so I used smaller hooks like number 1 j hooks..right now live squid are available so I guess you will be using live squid..you can used owner aki twist hook from 5/0 to 7/0

Pasensya na bro..I was out fishing for 2 days trip..kararating lang kagabi..yeah you have a big chance for White Sea bass actually they are at the island but when to bite it’s upon them that’s why they’re called ghost..I usually book when it’s full moon..at lagi naman kagatan.pero ngayon buwan it’s after 2 days at 2 days before full moon 😁..Ang endeavor at pride they caught 98 and 20 something yata yun tapos yung ranger they got 48.tapos full moon nawala siguro sobrang mahangin that time..I don’t know..tapos kahapon dumali naman Ang coral sea for 2 days straight ewan ko lng fish report nila maya pati Ang pride maganda rin white sea bass report nila plus yung Navegante at pursuit

Yes limits is one until June 15..but if already got one you can still fish to give it for those who doesn’t..

Eldorado may 25, fish till afternoon 26, then I am off Memorial Day to process fish and clean up my rigs. There is still room on that boat. Join and catch me a white seabass. I’ll take the smaller of the two if it means I will go home with one 😂

Good luck on your upcoming trip 👍🎣..get em..actually I’m on the boat right now done 2 days on the pride😁..we had descent fishing..White Sea bass mouths were closed today only one wsb caught and barely made the size limit.but we had limits of reds and about 16 halibut

thats funny, i thought we ok maybe he had a reason. then he took out the baitcaster for the dropper loop. he was backward the baitcaster should have been used for the fluke

Know all the fishing regulations for CA pier fishing! If you catch any short White Sea Bass, must be 28 inches, incidental to the Mackerel RELEASE it! Asians put everything in the bucket! SO TIRED OF ASIANS BREAKING FISHING LAWS IN CA!!!!
