With Pennsylvania it was over, at that point there was no path forward for kamala harris, even if she got the rest of the states. And with Trump leading in all the swing states at that time, they should have simply called it right then and there.

The new Disney building is called the Robert A. Iger Building in Hudson Yards in NYC, which will be served as the new East Coast headquarters of The Walt Disney Company. Soon, all ABC News programs, including WABC 7 will be moving to that new building.

While the 1991-2006 CBS News theme was used for 15 years, it didn't have much iconic for CBS themselves, especially when the 1987 theme was occassionally appeared during that era (especially promos). So, this is the reason when CBS decided to bring back 1987-91 theme instead of much longer and uninterrupted 1991-2006 theme.

Why would they go backwards in set design? 😖 they could have improved from Norah’s set in dc and tweak it up just a bit. In terms of set design nbc nightly news studio 3b and Norah O’Donnell studio had the best tv studios in my opinion.

@ in my opinion, in terms of set design, they went from the old school look with the wood to a more contemporary look with the digital floor panel, and they went back to a more local news look with the wood if that makes sense. I’ve been watching CBS news for a long time. I think those two gentlemen are great for the job, but people are set on watching NBC and ABC world news so the ratings more than likely won’t change but they will probably pick up half to nearly 2,000,000 viewers that was lost When Norah O’Donnell took the helm.

@@shawncarter8930 That makes sense. From this preview, I do think they are going for a more relaxed look, which this set accomplishes. It's simple, not too complicated and I do applaud them for going for a warmer tone in an era for constant florescent lights. Also from the teaser, they seem to be going for a more European feel, which includes using the video walls more liberal, but maybe we'll better see tonight!

Sounds like they're keeping the 1987-1991 theme too? YEAH!!! This is definitely the first time since the duo of Dan Rather and Connie Chung that we get duo anchors/Managing Editors for the CBS Evening News! I grew up in that era, now I'm here for the John Dickerson-Maurice Dubois duo! Edit: This theme is back, and so is its closing theme!
