why you choosed this strategy of client & server separate apps instead a single nextjs app with api/routes for the server...? arent you sacrificing simplicity? not critic, jsut an honest question?

By separating them, I can independently scale the client and server as needed, optimize performance for each, and even use different technologies or services tailored to their specific needs. 😃

yes sorry i forgot that part. u should replace the localhost one with the actually deployed backend url!

Great tutorial! I am very much interested on the authentication and authorization part from scratch. It would be great if you added timestamps to the video. Also if you could make a video on nextjs, Logto (an open source OIDC like clerk), nestjs and postgres, it would be amazing! I am currently looking into this solution for a project I am doing. btw subbed!
