One way you can straighten those radiator fins is a decently straight wire brush and just rub it one way back and forth along the length of the fins and it will straighten the bulk of them

Hello Toby, Heather and Teddy. Quick update managed to get her up to around 33% fuel saving! I'm estimating by the amount of fuel used after around 4 1/2 hours work, this is calibrated through the storage diesel tank pump which shows litres placed in the tank at the end of the day. I'm estimating through past experience eg. I forgot to turn it on Hydrogen the other day (didn't throw the switch!) when I realised, I only ran her for a further hour on Hydrogen, when I filled up the tractor fuel tank, needed 13 moor litres to fill her up than normally, than when running with complete hydrogen assistance! I'm developing my first own Hydrogen Cell which should power a petrol motorcycle, generator and eventually a car? I also have an invention called a "light engine" this would be an engine you could actually pick up and would have the power to run a railway locomotive! This obviously has cove threw DNA transitions, which we are all capable of. I really do believe that the internal combustion engine is something out of date and in very inefficient, why investments are made in designing an engine to run on Hydrogen is being perused beggar's belief, I feel its the human conditioning of not thinking out of the box, Lateral thinking should be applied? God bless you all... Cheers my Dears :)

Have you compared it with injecting a small amount of LPG? A small amount of LPG or CNG should also help the engine burn the diesel much more efficient and save diesel. And you would not have the efficiency loss from using the engine to generate electicity to splitt the water in to oxygen and hydrogen. Propane also has a much higher octane rating than hydrogen, that make it less likely to damage the engine.

@@espenschjelderup426 Not yet! Always open to new idea's, I once lifted the engine compartment on a six cylinder VW van and took the pipe off the burner attached to LPG and fed it strait into the carb. The Forman went mad where my make who was driving overtook all the other work vans on the motorway!! This was back in 1984 Thing is Hydrogen is very cheep to produce. Cheers my dears.

@@paulchant7237 that experiment with the VW sounded fun😁 I have experimented very little with diesel engines myself, but have many times tought of buying a old diesel car and playing with LPG in it. Are you aware of that you actually can buy LPG kits for retrofitting in diesel veichles? I was not until a few years ago when I wad looking for som part for my petrol/LPG daily car. And a few years befor that I learned that Volvo make engines for commercial veichles that run on diesel and CNG at the same time. Most of the time it use a small amount of diesel to ignite the CNG, but I think they also can run on only diesel. Myself I have most experience with tuning otto engines, with petrol, LPG or E85 when you still could buy E85 at pums here in Norway. Tuning carbs or aftermarked ECUs. One experiment I have most of the parts for but have still not got around to do is water injection in my LPG daily car. Just a small amount to see if it's possible to save some fuel, and lower the combustion temperature to save the exhaust valve seats from some of the wear. And one last thing I think I've read somewhere. I think injecting a small amount of LPG or CNG in a diesel engine actually can lower the NOX emissions, because more of the oxygen is used. If it still runs very lean, as a diesel should, I don't think CO should be much higher. And one last last thing😁 Engines that run on only hydrogen are known to have very high NOX emissions because of hydrogen burns very hot. But I don't think that's translating to your engine because of it most likely burns a very small amount of hydrogen. I hope we will have an update video from you in the future🙂

Rather than tap the drum off there is 2 jacking bolt holes there but before you try them give it a good smack between the wheel studs to jarr any rust loose. P.S. The screw driver has a hex to put the spanner on rather than bugger up the handle. Keep going though you are onto it.
