Hand loading is nearly mandatory with a .22H. I neck size only without the hornet. 40 vmax on LilGun with a small pistol primer for 2900 fps and excellent case life

This was a very insightful video. If, once I have done an oil change, after I run it for a short period of time, I lose oil pressure. When I remove the oil filter the oil is black and appears to have water in it. Would you be willing to provide a cause for this issue, and possible a recommended fix. Hopefully short of replacing the engine. I would be grateful. Thanks.

Well that was a flop the 243win pushes a 58 gr at 3800 fps and achieves a .25 in group or smaller in my Remington 700 seems like a waste of reloading supplies to try and make the 3006 shoot a .224 saboted round it can achieve around 3100 with a 150gr Hornady 30 cal and has great accuracy

That was a good honest review and sight in session sir. I have been building guns for 48 years now and every one of them will react different to a number of variables. Find that sweet load and the range you feel most confident with and do not deviate. You mentioned the most important thing about hunting… “can you hit a deer at 200 yards? Yea! Do you think it is 100% ethical? Probably not”. More “Hunter” need to ask themselves that question. I subscribed and thank for sharing

Since this was made, NEF was absorbed into Remington, and this line of guns have been discontinued. Savage Stevens and Henry are still manufacturing break-open, single-shot shotguns. But NOT at $99.00.

A 25-06 with a 22 inch barrel is the stupidest idea that any gunmaker ever did. I will highly recommend a minimum barrel length of 24, and 26 is ideal 👌

Got me a savage axis in .223 love it. If you want to smooth out that bolt and put a smoother trigger pull. A guy makes a bolt lift kit that literally should be on every one of these out the box. 20 bucks and easy to install. Also another company makes a 20 dollar trigger kit. The 40 dollars makes it feel like a 1000 dollar rifle. Its insane that the rifle doesn't come like it already. But a great rifle with or without the upgrades. Its night and day though for 40 bucks and easy to install. Check it out if you like tinkering with your toys def worth it. Btw I love that wood stock. Great video.

25-06 is cool...i get tiny groups with my savage. I found out years ago whatever ammo you use...its all dead on at 100 yards....no need for adjustments. THEN, after a few years I saw an article that said just that. It drops deer like a lightning bolt i have found out. I think an all copper 100gr bullet is better/faster kill than the 115gr nosler partition. Both bullets work great.😊

You cannot determine accuracy without shooting from a bench. Having your gun supported on a rest, eliminates your movements, thereby checking the accuracy of the bullet and the gun. Also, in a short barrel revolver, a faster, burning powder will work better. Why is that well the ideal situation is to have all of the powder burned before the bullet leaves the barrel. A slower burning powder will not do that but a faster burning power will burn most of its powder before the ball leaves the barrel on a snubi. Thereby providing more consistency and more velocity and power. Hope you got that her yet.

Get rid of the led sled, better groups without it. No need to clean bore after 3 shots, good way to get lousy groups.
