Da war ich 1989 als einfacher Soldat und hab u.a. in vielen Gebäuden z.B. bei 3:36 die Fenster geputzt. Jetzt ist es ein moderner kleiner Flugplatz und die hinteren Gebäude gehören einer behinderten Klinik oder Psychatrie.

Played an uptempo cover version of this as a drummer in the early ‘90’s, and loved it. Thank goodness for YT now, because I had no idea what the original sounded like. Our singer nailed it,including the yodeling, but it wasn’t until hearing this version that I picked up the blues component. Timeless beauty.
