Well.... the glass was locally blown here in WA, not in KY. Dale Chihuly is from Tacoma and his glass art is used all over in high-end venues. The first time I remember seeing his work was in 2005 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I didn't even know what Chihuly glass was before then. Davle is pretty much a celebrity in the Seattle area now, and a museum for his work was put in under the Space Needle in 2012. Melanie was the driving force for stopping at the Lincoln landmarks. We didn't even know we would be driving past them until we saw the signs.

@@elishapile6461 I'm hip to Dale Chihuly, that's why I asked. The only other guy who does stuff like that is Rollin Karg in Kechi, and I figured the chances of Karg Glass being in Kentucky was very slim. Chihuly is world renowned.

@@chrispile3878 they certainly aren't machinist grade like his older brother uses, but they are fine for home garage use and I'm sure he'll figure out a way to use them with his 3D printer too.
