I remember living in Australia and I met him after a Melbourne game. Then he moved to the UK similar time as me and my family and we met him again after a match at wilderspool and he remembered us. Legend. He’s had some serious adversity but what a credit he is to himself smiling and being in such good spirits.

Wire stuck it out well for 70mins and 12 men. Leigh should be embarrassed they only lost by 4. As for the way the games heading in general, might aswell inforce flag rugby. How can a ultimate physical game carry on with these stupid rules being inforced?? With players acting like their pansy conterparts in football too. Its the destruction of the sport and heritage. Revisiting this 4 post years after the depth of lockdown. We (Wire)!got a few things wrong, but we’ve learned and grown, and I think we have a deep foundation of club and team first. So many seasons I’ve seen some egos, but not this season. Whether we win something or not, 2024 will go down as a success year for me, after the years that followed this production. Smiles on fans faces again. And I love seeing Lyndsey at games. I always look out for him at away games. Spoke with him a few times now. Thanks again for the great interview.
