Hey @paulrossjones2234 - Thanks for comment. Yeah i was really surprised at how well it came out. As to the dynamic range etc compared to standard speed you can see some standard speed at the start of the video and I don't see much difference. Though it is shot in daylight at the sweetspot iso for the Urzsa 12K. I think the big difference between this and the Ursa G2 is the sensor. The Ursa G2 shoots the 300 fps in HD windowed resolition. The Ursa 12K is essentially an 80 Megapixal sensor. So even though there is a crop to Super 16 at 240 fps it is still true 4K in pixals. Truely amazing .

@film_insider :Thanks for question....so...ok again I am not the expert on this. I think the answer is NO in a very confusing way. From my take of it you can get it into Clog2 but it is just "interpreted" that way and not really CLog2 (ie: the software is just seeing it as a CLog2 profile). So totally confusing. If anyone knows about this for sure let us know

Yeah I totally hear you! It really does still show its in 4K (you can see it in the video). There is no seperate 6K menu or settings. I do love the R3 but I think this shows how Canon positioned it as far as video. I think in a lot of ways, at least in the menus etc...video is an afterthought. Another example: No C-log 2. I mean, come on for a "video camera also" at $5.5K

But in other things they did a very good job like almost no overheating, RAW-light, a lot of 4K-settings like cinematic 17:9-4K (and not just the 16:9) and All-I and IPB ... In my opinion it's as good as on the R6 and R5. One thing: Why would you choose LOG instead of RAW? File-sizes?

@@HurzMurz Hey Thanks for comments and you are right. Maybe I just focus on the negatives sometimes. But yeah, there is soooo much good in this camera. And the sensor and what comes out of it is nothing short of amazing. C-Log2 would be great to have though. The Raw file size is huge. But I may start to use that more mainly for cropping and to be able to get higher rez stills from the video (see my other video for that). But that down sampled 4K video is just mind blowing.

I am NOT an expert on the R3... but the answer is no. If you set the R3 to 6K Raw and then enable the Crop Mode (you can do it... it is not grayed) the camera goes into 4K. This makes sense since the 6K Raw is a full sensor readout.
