This video gives us a chance to take a closer look at Pino’s paintings, whose style successfully blends neo-realism and impressionism to create beautiful paintings.

The original was beautiful enough, but this piano cover gave me the chills. It really brought out the drama and melancholy of a world lost to history. It truly embodied the tragedy of Anastasia's shattered childhood.

This is trully a beautiful peace. I love everything, the intro is smart and I love the fast high notes, and I really like the chromatics. I spent a lot of time practicing it and I love it. But working on it and comparing with your interpretation, I noticed a few differences between the sheet music I bought and this interpretation, like the do minor / C minor arpeggios at measure 88, corresponding to what you play at 2:10 . (What i have written, for the right hand is only going up, which seems to be different for what you play before the fortissimo). Is there any place where I can find the exact same version you play? Also, I m not near professional nor influencer but I'd like to publish my interpretation on instagram and facebook (again, nothing professional, I expect no more than 5/6 hundreds views, but it's my favorite piece and I d like to show it, I ll write down the music name and your name on the publication). Do I have your agreement? Also, the sheetmusic I bought was on this link. www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0191846&ca=0&cmpid=art_emilepandolfi& Is that actually the correct way for me to buy it legally? Again I really would like the exact sheet music corresponding to the interpretation you made. Anyway, congratulations for this masterpiece, I really hope I ll understand how you weote such beautiful chromatics because although it sounds good, I can't figure out why (except that the melody is included, I feel like there is some additional things)

sorry for the slow reply. Glad you are playing the arrangement, and, yes, you got the official (legal) arr. from musicnotes. As for the differences in the sheet vs the recording, you have a good ear! they are indeed there, but they are minor alterations that I don’t believe do anything to change the nature of the piece. The fact is, when I perform it, I often make little changes on the spot, as I never write down my arrangements prior to recording. A lot is improvised during the session - after having worked out the main flow of the piece. The point is that you can change a note or two in many arrangements (not classical, of course) and have the same musical result. I wouldn’t worry too much about a note here or there. As for the chromatic passages, the notes on the page are - with the exception of one passage - exactly what I play on the video. there are no (additional things) going on. I think what you may be hearing is that I bring out the melody notes quite heavily, so that the melody sounds legato over the chromatic passages.. I let the descending notes sort of “fall away” from the melody line. And, yes, you have my permission to use the my arrangement. I don’t own the copyright to the song, since I am not the composer. If there are copyright issues, FB will simply not let you post it. I hope this helps. Emile
