Something like this truly makes you realize how good James LaBrie is and how difficult and technical his vocals are. Ross is an absolute beast but doesn't quite deliver as good as James does. And Ross is like top shelf. So mad props to James! We love you JLB!

Grazie per questo video, C’ero anche io! Febbre, tonsillite, pioveva e avevo 17 anni. Ricordo benissimo tutto pure il lancio della prima bacchetta, che venne presa al volo da un ragazzo poco dietro di me.. che bel concerto. Il gruppo che li precedeva mi pare di ricordare che avesse un chitarrista (forse con a camicia blu) totalmente immobile per tutta l’esibizione 😅

Interesting how much Malmsteen stays a lot closer to the recorded solos than he does these days and it is a lot better to listen to imo. He wildly overplays these days and almost ruins the songs as a result. Just my opinion... but I wish he would play them more as recorded

Omg, this is gold, thanks for uploading it. I wish i was there... the lineup was super awesome... besides Portnoy is using the Green Monster, my favorite color and drum setup he built in the late 90s. He's so beloved by Tama that they built that kit in three colors, purple for USA, also he had another purple replica for some Japan shows, green for Europe, and orange red.... Golden Years
