The author of the video left the back of the car seat touching the front passenger seat. There's supposed to be at least the thickness of one hand in between the car seat and the passenger's seat. Check out videos but always double-check your manual afterwards!!!

When tightening the strap, it won't go further than a certain point (it's still very loose). No matter how much force I apply to it. Can anyone help me, please??

@taylormcdonald2762 Yes, I did. I was pulling the strap towards the right door, which was not correct. You have to do it pulling from the left side towards that side. Reply if you don't understand.

My wife and I just wrestled with 2 GRACO Safety 1st car seats trying to install them in our SUV for our grandchildren. WORST DESIGNED SEATS EVER! They make you insert adult size hands into a mysterious chamber that is sized for child sized hands.....and, sharp plastic and seat cushion platforms do a great job pinching and slicing away at your hands as you try and figure out how to thread the belts through this Hudini proof seat. HUGE FAIL, Graco! Fire whoever designed these seats immediately.....and by the way, once installed, they slide all over the place and tip to the side no matter how hard you yank on the straps to remove slack. Never been so pissed in my life at a product that should be designed for quick, easy, and safe installation...these seats are none of those!

I remember them telling me at the hospital that 90 percent or some high number of people don’t install car seats right but it’s like what do you expect when they make them so complicated to figure out.

@Thepokeuser my son is 24 and my daughters are 2 and 4. His seat just went in with a seat belt and was easy to get in and out. Now you LITERALLY INSTALL THEM in your vehicle.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. CHILD. SEAT. If you follow the manufacturers instructions, watch this video, and install it properly; you will realize the "lower" seat belt assembly is looped over the plastic "level adjuster bracket. This is held to the main chair, by a small plastic prong -- that can twist, bend, or snap very easily. If you are in an accident, and you do not buttress the child seat with the front passenger seat, as shown in this video -- the small plastic prong on the bottom of the seat can come loose, potentially jostling your newborn. If your passenger accidentally adjusts the passenger seat, and the child-seat isn't locked in -- and there's an accident or a sudden stop -- the seat can come loose. So I repeat: DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. CHILD. SEAT. *EXTREMELY* poor engineering.
