Yesterday I created a Pong clone in C# with this engine. I was some of the most fun I've had with programing in so long. Thank you Ray for this amazing library!

Hello raysan, thanks for updating raylib. But I have a few questions: I am using Ubuntu 24.10 Gnome 47 (Wayland Desktop). I am trying to test an example program in wayland only; I assume raylib supports this. Or does it just support x11 but on wayland it would use Xwayland compatibility? 1> By default those binaries of raylib (shared and static)are X11 not wayland? 2> I am concerned when I compile an example on the terminal it says: INFO: PLATFORM: DESKTOP (GLFW - X11): Initialized successfully -shouldn't it say GLFW - WAYLAND? 3> I used cmake and not 100% about the flags $ cd ~/raylib/src $ cmake -DPLATFORM=Desktop -DUSE_WAYLAND=ON -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON .. $ make -j8 It does build and it put it in the raylib/src/raylib directory then I copy it to the /lib directory But, when I try to do a raylib example, I get that INFO: .... (GLFW - X11) not (GLFW - Wayland) 4> In the Makefile for my test example I have these link flags. LIBS = -lraylib -lGL -lm -lpthread -ldl -lrt -lwayland-client -lwayland-cursor -lwayland-egl -lxkbcommon -lc Is this unnecessary if you cmake build raylib? Thank you, if raysan or anyone else can help me out with this.

Update I found a youtube video that explains this kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4aTf42XZ89meLc if anyone else needs help getting raylib to work on wayland desktops. I used cmake so it modified the raylib makefile; so had to unzip and start from scratch. I got it working, sorry to bother you.

Wow!!!! Thanks for all the work! Does the installer include the compiler? And there won't be any conflicts with existing compilers in the system? BTW, could you do a similar video for a popular Linux distribution like Ubuntu, please?

Yes it is include the compiler. It places its own toolchain in to C:/raylib. And I guess no worries about conflictes because as I remember it isn't add any environment path. You just need to place your project into the C:/raylib/lib || C:/raylib/source

Not really, afaik, FBX is a proprietary closed-specs file format, owned by Autodesk. I prefer to support open file-formats in raylib.

@averageengineer I'm the creator of the software, its proprietary software and closed source as of right now, sorry. Its primary purpose though is to animate 3D objects in Blender to MIDI data, similar to what ANIMUSIC did.
