@@user-ys9dl3rd9o now I get it! It's really interesting... Reality is infinitely more complex and weird that we can imagine, but our brains evolved to only comprehend a tiny fraction of it. But it doesn't mean we can't understand it. Just that some things are always going to sound and look counterintuitive against our simplified understanding of the natural world.

Allow me to introduce a new idea. You can search my video on youtube titled: "What is a dimension, between the third and fourth, do it exist?" In this video I have posted pictures, which visually explain my idea, about a sub-dimension between the fourth and third dimensions. But what do I mean by SUB-DIMENSION??? 0:00 Well, to understand that, you have to think one dimension backwards. And that what we see around us, and the terrain we stand on, is two dimensional and not three. But back to the question! If you imagine the terrain in the 2d creature's world (megaman NES), it is not two dimensional, but one. There is also a sub-dimension (flatlander short story) between the second and third dimensions, where the terrain, however, is two dimensional, not one! 0:10 This means that the terrain is spread over the entire 2D room (volume terrain), and that a creature there can turn around in all directions and see trees, bushes, flowers, grass and lakes and more. To be able to see something and so that not everything overlaps, they can focus their vision in front of, behind and inside objects with clairvoyance! They can also move freely through the solid terrain!!! 0:20-0:30 Then imagine this as a three-dimensional terrain, that is, a sub-dimension between the third and fourth dimensions. How cool would it have been, to see all that??? 0:40 Perhaps this is the explanation why spirits and ghosts pass through walls and solid objects. Thanks for reading this to your all! Take care of yourself! :-)

That's an interesting concept! In case you're not aware, the idea of "fractional dimensions" (i.e.: 1.5 dimensions) is something that has been already described mathematically. Objects with a fractal dimensions are... fractals! That being said, an object remains 2D even when it is "unfolded" in a higher dimension. For instance, The surface of a sphere lives in a 3D space, but it is effectively 2D as you only need 2 coordinates to uniquely identify each point!

I was just fed this today and find it extremely interesting. One area I found very interesting is the sequence of map generation, which I kind of suspected was this order. However, since the "caves and cliffs" update there seems to be some, in my opinion, unfortunate collisions between caves and structures resulting in extreme damage to structures, such as strongholds, and complete obliteration of others, desert temples on many maps. Also, prior to this update I felt the "extreme savanna hills" were perfect as they were and, again in my opinion, were replaced by these fragmented "shattered" hills. Anyway, sorry for the gripes. Thank you much for this informative overview of the internals. As a career business software developer I found it quite interesting. Thank you.

I don't agree with the idea that we cannot comprehend four-dimensional spaces. Most branches of sciences (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Geometry, Physics, ...) handles high dimensions on a daily basis. There's nothing inherently mysterious about 4D spaces, from a geometrical/mathematical point of view.
