I cry and cry and I cry (I hadn't cried for some months now) I don't understand all that the woman poet, the Palestinian woman says I know she speaks truth I listen to her I think she is beautiful she is masked and beautiful I feel for Palestine I feel my Palestinian grandfather inside my bones I cry for Nuseirat being shelled I feel Shiyaiya surviving in this very moment I need Jabalia resisting now with arms in honor for me to stand up and be myself: the aging grandson of a Palestinian Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Zaytoun, Tel Hawa, Rafah, Mawasi, Maghasi, Bureij, Deir elbalah Deir dibwan from where Jabr came here, Nazareth where Issa was raised, el Quds where he was martyred (I'm Christian), Beitlehem where he was born, and the three flowers of courage in the North: Jenin, Tulkarm, Naplus, and Qalqiliya, Nour Shams, what a name, Khalil in the South, also, the many villages of Masafer Yatta, and Haifa, Yaffa I love Palestine I will never go there but I love her, and, like you all, for me to be free, I need Palestine to be free from the Jordan to the sea it's the last day of November 2024, day number 420 of the Zionists' holocaust of Palestinians in Gaza, day number 50? of the siege of the North of the Strip and today I cried while you died while you resisted while you're still alive, resisting, and making me be

Future Prediction: Now that Affirmative Action is DOA, Can't blame Black kids anymore and it didn't do diddly squat to hurt Blacks overall (Because we been knew Affirmative Action wasn't for us.) Here's the next moves from THEM folks. 1) Use Azn-Americans or Latinos or both to go after HBCUs admissions. Basically flood HBCUs with Non-Black admissions and use any POC kid that didn't get in to bring a case. 2) Spin narrative on Legacy Students as a "Positive" for Rich connected minorities, especially Rich East Azns. 3) Push for Azn equivalent to HBCUs as a means to defund HBCUs. The End goal is always Anti-Blackness to become Whyt Adjacent. Black folks can see the gameplan coming from a mile away.

This is so backward. Asians go to cities in America where everyone around them is black, the cops are black, the DA is black, the mayor is black, and the people attacking them and robbing them are black. And Asians are supposed to feel grateful? The mayors of NY, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, St. Louis are all black. It’s the total opposite. It’s an anti Asian world of black people oppressing Asians.
@nycheights682 ай бұрын
Your anti-Blackness and not understanding the history she is discussing and US History and the systems of power is exactly why things will never change. What do your 10 people and examples have anything to do with the historical examples she is talking about.
@gj12345678999992 ай бұрын
@ things will never change because blacks are disproportionally responsible for crimes and blame racism when nobody wants to deal with them when it’s actually common sense based on statistics. Black males commit over 50% of the murders in the U.S. despite being only 7% of the population. Explain that.
@gj12345678999992 ай бұрын
@ 10 people? It’s 20 Asian people everyday in just San Francisco robbed, assaulted or murdered by blacks. And just Asians, not even counting whites being attacked by blacks. Outrageous crimes are being committed, by blacks. George Floyd? That’s nothing compared to the crimes by blacks against Asians. Blatant stuff like a woman raped and murdered in a park in broad daylight by a black man. No marches or media attention compared to George Floyd. The media shows black supremacy. There is no such thing as white supremacy.

thanks much ate marissa! so sad to know what our ancestors have been through. let's see in my most unexpected presence at the UN would change those experiences at the past vis-a-vis with my experience in priestly ministry, most specifically on helping the poor workers at the present, would take effect. hope to see you one day at the field, UN NY and ILO. it is there that we could prove our blood, sweat and tears in helping those who were, and are on struggles - the oppressed workers. let us be an agents of hope ate.

Fascinating panel, unfortunate that the audio capture is so muted and also picked up a lot of background noise and crinkling Edit: Finally finished, again what a great panel!

The cool thing is this wasn’t only happening in the Bay Area. Growing up in Houston, we had a Filipino mobile Dj scene in the 80’s as well and having relatives in NY and Chicago, it was going on in those cities as well.

Dank. Cause hes only speaking on diversity cause he has too and block any real conversation about societal issues in east Asia and between them. They r making haystacks cause they know under the guise of diversity talk about individual issues and really they can stuff and sacrifice south Asians network or if there feeling sassy south east Asians. Like east Asians can only save east Asians. What r those climate migrations within east Asia n countries. Like how they see the ledger and how tech blurs environment and tech blurs with humans. And why do they happen. As Sam sanders on his podcast obsess better. Also dank. Go f yourself. Tm screen. Laughing all the way til my ass falls off. Have at it.

Even Chief Mark Peters, who was a lawyer and a historian, stated before he passed away that Chief Bottlewasher and Duane Perry has not came up with any proof they have Native Heritage. He gave them over 20 years to come up with proof and they never did. Mann and Perry want Chief Mark Peters of the Munsee tribe to help them sue the Oklahoma Lenape but Mark stated he would never sue the Oklahoma groups because they were his brothers and sisters, not Vincent Mann or Duane Perry. Mann is only chief of his own house which he is probably the main cook and bottlewasher! Chief Bottlewasher! Chief Mark Peters has KZbin history videos, they don’t include Mann or Perry!! CHECK YOUR FACTS!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

This is great. I grew up watching my relatives have backyard and basement Dancehall parties in Jamaica Queens in the 70’s/80’s Hip Hop and B-Boy & House Music parties in the 80’s. Hearing the first narrator read his book brought back great memories for me. I’m 55 years old with 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Like dreaming to restore a classic hot rod I long to break out my turntables but my garage is currently a playroom for our grandchildren. I’m not Filipino but enjoy listening to Filipino DJ’s from the USA and Canada. Thanks again.

Thank you Tammy Kim for all your work. I 1st heard about you in the Noam Chomsky interview. I served 30 years in the Navy and I’m learning so much about our country and it’s missions. I thought I knew a lot but now I realize that I don’t know anything but a drop in the bucket. I’ve traveled the world but with the countless changes I have made in the Navy I never had enough time to learn about the countries that I was stationed at. So much to learn. Thank you for sharing this information, my learning continues.

It’s no accident that the first black president and vice president are biracial. White people are hyper aware of race and offer fluidity as seen in many Carribean and South American countries. Another great point highlighted by the panel is the commoditization of biracial identity. Every other commercial is a biracial person or mixed race couple.
