Hi i need some help frl, dunno why my deployer starts to place blocks even tho there are rails in chest
@Deosil25
@Deosil25 3 күн бұрын
Hey Kitune, Sorry for delayed response. Away for a bit. So first this I can think of might be that you did not put the filter on the deployer to the desired Block/item. So make sure the one in front is set to Block. I usually use the block I mine the most of in that area. So it will either be Cobble Stone, Cobbled Deepslate or Netherack. then the one behind it you have to use a Rail and make that the Filtered item for the second deployer. That way it will place rails and not blocks. Let me know if that worked!

I have a modpack with create and the flesh that hates (among other things) I'm gonna send one of these drills through the center of the flesh biome. Let's see how it goes! Can deployers use flint and steel?
@Deosil25

hey Blake.Likes.Spiders! Hope you doing well and that the machine worked in the Flesh Biome. I do not know this mod myself and I am honestly intrigued now. So will be checking that out for sure! Yes. They can use flint and steel, I have just never tried it with a moving contraption. Are you thinking of using that as a way of lighting up the tunnel?

For the copper pipes pumping water. If you place the middle one first, then cover it with copper casing, you can place the other two and they won't connect! Then you can add the support pieces to contrast the copper :D

HAHA! I laughed so much, as I ran after that cart so many times. Its not even funny. It was however a fun little way of transporting items, and I am glad I finally made the switch to Steam. You need to add the extra engines to pull the power you’re producing out of the boiler. Each engine has a SU cap, so while you’re producing max power you’re not currently drawing max power - which you could see if you added a stress meter to your output.
@Deosil25
@Deosil25 6 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for this. Think I am going to first connect and see how much of what I generate I use, and when I run out I can just add engines like you mentioned! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it. Thank you so much!

So, from what I can remember from how Steam Engines work, the boiler level indicates the number of Steam Engine blocks you can put on the tank before it begins to lower the output per engine. So, a level 1 steam engine can have more than 1 steam engine block on it, but each engine block provides part of the total. Additionally, a Steam Engine block itself has a cap on the total SU it can generate, which is the 16,384. As you are right now, with 9 blocks on a max level boiler, you are only giving yourself half of the available SU.

Kisameplays, I appreciate you taking the time to explain this! I am still learning as the series grows, and this makes so much more sense I really appreciate it. I am going to first see if I can use all the power I am generating now, and then when I am in need of more. I will just add some more engines (Which I am almost 100% sure will be the case!) I appreciate it and thank you again for assisting!

Wow dude just wow, I love the pickle farm explanation gives a little bit of in depth ideas to people. Also it's amazing to see you revisit the starter area. And that place is what got me started to watch you channel as it's amazing. The powerplant looks awesome and it definatly is needed as water wheels cause so much lag. I'm trying to remove as many observers and change them to hopper clocks as they lag too. It would be quite cool to see more air ships and maybe lanterns in the air for when you do the immersive tour. Anyways dude another amazing episode. Dropped out a message btw. Thankyou for your support as well. Keep up the good work my friend

FLOATING LANTERNS! O MY WORD! Okay I am so excited and I am not sure how I am going to continue to work with that Idea in my head. I love the Starter area as well, and I think its been the most neglected Area for a long time. So it was overdue for a revisit and an upgrade. Yeah lag can really ruin a gaming experience for a person. So I started turning off and unloading some of my areas recently. Just to see if I can make it a bit smoother. I am so behind on everything, need to just get to a point where the year ends. This time of the year is always such a rush for the construction industry. Hope you are doing well and as always I appreciate the support.

@@Deosil25 Hey Deosil, here is an idea. First, do you have the option to Make Diesel in your Create World? If you have the option, you can just create a farm to make diesel and once you have 10,000 buckets worth of diesel, you have an infinite amount. Diesel works the same way as blaze cakes and you can have the pipes feeding into the blaze burners from an infinite source.
