Oxtails used to be a cheap cut of meat, but apparently the foodies got wind of it and how delicious it is now it is in high demand and cost a ridiculous amount per pound

I had a 26cm blue cocotte for years. It was battered and worn, so when we downsized on retirement I gave it to my daughter. Well, I lasted less than six months before I broke down and bought a new cerise coloured one, the same size, in a sale. I love it so much, even though it is getting a bit heavy for me. So versatile.

I don’t know where you got 10 minutes to cook rice but Spanish rice takes 30 minutes, especially medium grain or long grain. No way you gonna get it done in 10 minutes.
