Family values..our parents thought us to be kind, humble, grateful that you are healthy, you have food to eat, you are still alive their are more to be thankful and grateful.. my father died early living 6 children and mother don't have work coz she's the one taking care of us.. eldest is 14 and youngest is 3.. i really don't know how my mom overcome those hardships.. she really don't have a choice, but get a grip and move forward I don't see her crying but maybe when shes alone, she makes herself strong..and mind you she doesn't marry anymore even their are some who tried to showed interest..she said i only love 1 man and its enough, and she thinks also our welfare if she married and it might not end up good..i admire her for not depending on any other man to raise us.. but praise God's intervention and help is sure to arrive..my aunt (mom sister) help us and support us in studies.. my mom then started working in our barangay as a secretary and also the one in charge in a cooperative, so she starts earning.. no wonder she didn't even buy us any toy when we we're young, its the food to put on the table is important, but we are happy to play around the house and sorroundings climbing mango tress and coconut all other fruit bearing trees making a tree house and swing, its more on physical activities.. my mother wanted us to finish our education coz that is the only thing they can do for us.. We are poor if i look back during those time when it comes to finacial aspect, but i really don't feel i am poor, coz everyday my mom comes home always with pasalubong even its just a bread and biscuits we are happy already (later i found out that she always have something to bring home and its on credit)😢 but shes good in handling money she doesn't waste to unnecessary expenses its more to our household..comparing to other families i can see that i am more privilege than them so i am always grateful even growing up we don't have much on material things as children in this generation, but we value education and are appreciative, and with a goal of making our life better with our mom who works so hard while we are young.. Others are telling it is the duty of our parents yes, but for Filipinos we are just being grateful for the effort of our parents in raising us..our mom is not asking us to provide for her, but we are happy to let her experienced a relaxing life.. With all those experienced, i can say life is not always happy everyday u came across problems, you just have faith in God that it will be ok and it will pass.. always look on the brighter side of everything and it happens for a reason, to make you strong and not easily give up on life.. with just my mom and Aunt experienced, we are motivated to finish studies, that if even how hard life is, just have faith, do your best to become successful..if they can do it, why not us? Having a family and friends that sorround you that makes you laugh, you don't think life is hard anymore..
