Loved hosing off the high chair! No one warned me that normal high chairs get food in every nook and cranny 😂

The Stokke isn’t supportive enough for smaller babies, but once they grow out of the seat harness etc, around 20m, they’ll love the extra height it gives at the table, rather than being low down on a grown up chair struggling to reach their food at the table.

Definitely would recommend against high chairs that don't have a footrest :-\ we watched a presentation from a pediatric speech language pathologist and she mentioned footrests are very important for allowing babies to push against if they find themselves choking or even fagging on new food textures. Theyre becoming more popular, Cosco has a a highchair around $40 that has a footrest!

Love the stokke trip trapp and I got the complete set (harness, baby seat, cute wipeable cushion, and tray) for $400 at Nordstrom. Still a lot of money for a high chair but I love that it's ergonomic and blends right in with all of our other furniture. My baby loves it too! Self feeds in it and if she's ever choking I see her using the footrest and standing up a bit to get the food out. And everything wipes down so well for me! Will be using it for all my kids!
