Thanks for sharing your design of this fish rack system. I am thinking maybe we could drill the holes for overflowing at the bottom of each glass fish tank so we run the pipes completely inside the rack and under each layer. Then we dont' need to leave a gap between the fish rack and the wall behind for any maintenance work. So we can put the fish rack immediate close to the wall and save more floor area in the fish room.

@@GeneCraftExotics make sure to get Velifera (known as giant sailfin molly) I think yours are regular sphenops. The yellow male with black fins could be a hybrid or just hi-fin. Best of luck !

And for that Ozito preesure pump, is my understanding correct that it turns on and off automatically when you turn on and off your Wi-Fi irrigation controller? How much does it cost from Bunnings? Thank you.
@GeneCraftExotics21 күн бұрын
Yes that is correct, and you can schedule it when to turn on. I think it’s 300 for the pump and controller

I also noticed that you drill the drainage hole on the rear side glass of the fish tank but the hole is quite below the water surface. Is there any consideration for such design?
@GeneCraftExotics21 күн бұрын
Yes this was done on purpose as I can twist the nozzle down on its siphons the whole aquarium in minutes.

Could I ask a few questions? For that RackIt 1000KG rack system, apart from that metal wireframe, is there any other material laid under the bottom of each fish tank? I am not sure whether it is still necessary to put a thin marine plywood under the fish tank.
@GeneCraftExotics21 күн бұрын
I have replaced the wire with ply wood and I have levelled it all. There is also 10mm of foam too

Hi thank you for your great video. I am a fish keeper in NSW. And I am planning to make a fish tanks rack with centralized filtration, automatic water change and each tank could get isolated when needed. Your design gives me a very good reference.

Gorgeous setup. Well done. I have subscribed and hope to see more on your system. Your tanks are all custom. What is the size of each cube and did you purchase the glass boxes that way or did you make them yourself?

Unfortunately from what I have found is that you need to let them figure it out, I have tried giving babies to better parents ,that has worked or raising fry without the parents.
