One little stem is bigger than one seedling! Never let them dry out no need for a big hole! A simple trowel will be deep enough. Keep them in a bucket of water after seperated Try to feed them something every time you cut it! Good luck with your experiiment!

Actually I also bought my Brachiaria grass seeds from Semanhyia farms but it's germinated and grew well as you can see. Someone also called me the last time and she told me her seeds did not germinate so I gave her some Brachiaria suckers to plant.
