Thankyou for finally demystifying Redshift with such a clear and practical tutorial - as someone who used C4D 20 years ago and has only just got back into it, I was utterly confused by the way RS is integrated into the program. Now I feel like I'm starting to know what I'm doing. It's ridiculous that the actual company that makes the software can't make such useful instructional videos and we have to rely on the generosity of people such as yourself. Thanks again.

So yeah, I've been messsssing up with motion tracker and I found it quite "harder". This way is way simplified, as couldn't understand the constrains in C4d. But I'm wondering how the Fake out of home trendy videos are made. Love to see a tutorial about it. You are awesome!

May I use a Red Shift material instead of Standard?

Last I checked, you need to use the standard material while using body paint, however once you are done creating the textures you load them into a Redshift material.

I use a 42in tv (LG C2) at the moment, but have you used multi-monitor setups previously. I've thought about doing a video like that!

@@BTB3D 1. Nice, thank you. 2. Yes I tried an old school 🙃 2nd monitor with my laptop; I used it for references, it was a nice experience to extend my working view/space. Currently my need is min 2 monitors, so I want to gather that in one single monitor, I thought a 32" min, that I can divide the space based on my needs, current & future. In general I don't change my hardware often. 5 years min, or until it stops working, or goes outdated (support dropped). throughout the last 2 years I gathered a long list of monitors that can fit these requirements. Thank you again for your prompt responsiveness.

Assuming everything is visible geometry (not just splines). You should be able to export an alembic with animation.

Hi. I dont khnow if you are using AutoCAD or not, but there is a great features for work with line. simple thing I mean. like "Extend" command that is useful and simple to extend line and intersect with other line. or "Trim" command that's very simple and usefulwhen you wanna cut line .I wonder if there is something like that in C4d?(In 2d mode like in top, when working spline like simple line in Autocad) Do you khnow some tricks about that? a simple pipeline that we can work with spline in a little Engineering,Architectural way?

So you can kind of extend a spline by selecting the last point, holding ctrl/cmd and drag out a new point. You can also use the Line Cut (m-k) to add a new point on to an existing spline.

thank you for your video. But why does everybody say this is Cinema 4D? This is NOT Cinema 4D, this is Maxon One!. A "normal" Cinema 4D cannot use this feature, aswell as hundreds of other cool things in the assetbrowser.

I see what you’re saying, but I would argue the majority of users subscribe there by making that the “normal” cinema 4d. You could argue since it’s just a premade capsule that it isn’t a built in tool or something similar. Either way. It’s new and I find it interesting and useful
