This was 1 of my favorite Sho Koshugi movies because it.had his.sons on it. Young Kane Koshugi was a beast at 8yrs old. Brings me back to the days of 9 Deaths of a Ninja and Ninja 3 The Domination.

To be honest t10 steel is the strongest steel that is true but you don't have to fold it 100 times over either in t10 is really hard to come across with modern day technology we can just make the steal that hard lol but yes stainless steel is like complete trash carbon steals are slightly better and then your t10 would be the strongest you could possibly get..

@FreestyleSwordsman it would be all into the Smith if it were the Edo period what I'm trying to say is that the only reason why they folded the steel so many times to make it so strong and durable is just because the steel back then had so many impurities in it which isn't a thing in modern-day steel. It's not necessary to fold steel hundreds of times to make a sword durable it just will be

I had a little cleaver shaped chopper from him in 5160 that was stupid sharp and built like a tank. I haven’t seen any differentially heat-treated knives from him in a while. I would buy from Ecos again in a heartbeat. The quality is as good as or better than knives I’ve paid hundreds for.

I just got one yesterday for 80$CAD(yeah lol inflation and Canadian dollar exchange rate is a mf) but they fixed the issue, I opened it up the same way on the table, and even slower than you did, and the lock engaged immediately, tried it again but while holding it, engaged immediately, so maybe you got a faulty model or they fixed it sometime since this video, thank you tho for making sure, they could have been the ones to see this exact vid and fixed it so thank you for your contribution
