The craziest thing is we now have a generation of people who think it's good value to Rent a car for 50k a year. Leasing is the biggest scam they have managed to pull on someone. I have a friend who insists it's the way forward. I'm the last 6 years he has spend 15k a year for cars he will never own. I have spent 10k on one car that I still have. I total I've spent 16k all in and done 200k. He has spend over 100k in that time for a vehicle that services the same purpose. Not even to mention a lot of newer cars are a downgrade from the previous generation.

If you’re super rich and you’re buying cars > $100k you’re better off financing to avoid locking up all that cash in a bad asset. You can take the extra cash and put it in investments and pay off your car with other income.

There’s no difference between leases and financing …… Banks hold the title in both situations it didn’t matter….. in a lease you have options to walk away, refinance the RESIDUAL or Go into another lease FINANCING…… if you don’t put a significant amount down the you run into a situation referred to as UPSIDE DOWN the value vs what you owe of what you owe is greater … then you’re upside down in that vehicle LEASING there’s a guaranteed RESIDUAL VALUE at the EOT …….. This idiot has no idea what she’s talking about ….. she’s never sold cars. A day in her life …… please contact a reputable dealer for the correct information please
