Carriers are now as obsolete as battleships, they now known as targets. Carriers can easily be destroyed with one missile, so they are only useful fighting a WW2 battle, no good at all against missiles.

I grew up near Fairborn, Ohio. The home of the US Air Force Museum. It has one of these B-36s, completely restored. It is huge. If you love military aircraft, this museum is a bucket list attraction. You need at least two days to see most everything. They've also got the last XB-70 Valkyrie, fully restored. It is the coolest plane I have ever seen, and I've seen most of them. So many great aircraft and stories there! It's open everyday except Christmas, and it is free to go through. They have an IMAX, one of the first, theater and other pay for attractions, but you can walk through for free. The Smithsonian Aviation Museum doesn't hold a candle to this museum. No offense to the Smithsonian, it is excellent.

Russia's carrier is a joke. It can barely stay afloat and has almost zero capacity for combat operations. China's carrier isn't much better. They have capacity with it, but at this point not much capability. It takes time to train a carrier task force for combat operations. They have not had time to train all the aspects of true carrier operations.

Russia has some best nuclear subs and most powerful icbms in the world , they don’t need a fleet of aircraft carriers to protect their country.. Russia has always a plan for the vulnerabilities of their enemies , that’s the reason why even the United States don’t want to fight them directly

@@technatural2198 No, that isn't the "reason" the US doesn't want to fight Russia. The "reason" is that there is no NEED to fight Russia. It would be pointless to fight them for any other reason than self defense. And yes, they have submarines, but subs are not power projection platforms. Carriers are. Big difference in their purposes and use. Whether Russia "needs" carriers or not, the fact remains that they have not been successful in being able to put one to sea. The only one they have is a piece of junk that can't go anywhere without tugboats.
