This was one of the best birth story/vlogs I’ve seen because you’re telling the story a few weeks later which helps us get your unfiltered & organized thoughts (since you were in no place to give those thoughts while contracting etc!) but then including the clips between helps it feel live and more in-depth! Also- Was going to ask where you got your nightgown from in the clips when you’re blow drying your hair, LOL. Looks so comfy and nursing-friendly. 34 weeks today and getting excited for our own birth story to begin!

So encouraging that you were able to get through an induced birth unmedicated! I’m 31 weeks pregnant and for some reason had it in my mind that if I got induced there’d be no way to stand the pain but get an epidural.

I have to give massive props to the women who have unmedicated births in a hospital. I tried it with my first and narrowly escaped a c-section…every baby after that was at home. The hospital setting os just too hard for me to relax enough to go unmedicated.

Wow great video! Thanks for sharing. I’m so thankful I have short labors my first was only 7 hours and my second was 5 hours. Third was breech and my water broke early so I had a c section. But there’s nothing like holding your beautiful baby after all the hard work! Congrats

Awwww I can totally relate to all of the unexpected challenges that come with pregnancy! My heart goes out to you🫶🏼 It can be so hard when you plan for your pregnancy to be a certain way only to be disappointed by certain things that are out of our control. I’ve learned to just let go & let God. So long as baby is healthy that is all I care about. Don’t beat yourself up over the gestational diabetes! The healthiest women can get it easily while pregnant. I got it too & it was a bummer at first but I just accepted it with everything else. I was recently hospitalized & they wanted to keep me for SEVEN WEEKS where they then wanted to induce me 😭 horrible! I have a video all about it. Thankfully I’m home now and just taking it day by day. Wishing you a healthy rest of your pregnancy ❤
