Came just as described and was easy to figure out to put together. Have had it up over a month with no issues or anything coming loose.

I'm pretty sure the Sleepy Wrap has to be tied snug to your body, unlike say a Moby. This video shows too much slack is left on the wrap, and if you leave it that loose, you'll feel the baby getting lower and lower.

I know this comment is incredibly old but its so true. I am new to wrapping (4th child, 1st time trying it) and have found this to be very true. It has to be super tight or baby will start slipping down and you'll eventually need to re wrap! My baby is under 7 lbs and while I like this wrap, it doesn't support his weight very well even wrapped as tightly as I can get it

Yes. It is possible. The Manduca is built with a deep seat that allows it to fit much bigger children, there is therefore ample space for a newborn to sit froggy style in the carrier. Generally, most newborns up to 8 weeks prefers their legs tugged in. As their legs "straighten", the legs will automatically emerge from the carrier.
