Spartan fought in phalangs which main characteristics is "push" (osmosis). Too bad that was not shown. Generally great coreography and details

I'd have to play it again. But I've never seen custom deaths like that or individual shields being thrown around like that at the charge. I like Rome 1s game eagel eye view map layout but the Rome War 2 has an updated battle algorithms in individual battles.

About 15000 of the Spartans never even got into combat. To make things close, defenders need about 1000 Golden Knights.

Good battle, thanks. The Spartans were overwhelmed by the 10-1 ratio on the front where they could be flanked, and held the front where they couldn't be flanked.

It still looks horrible. The fact that they scripted the soldiers to only ever be able to one v one in battle is so stupid it looks absolute garbage. The arrows have always been beautiful how they penetrate into the battlefield but the melee play has just been awful from day one.

Those giant cyclops are bad dudes-maybe even stronger than soul tyrants- since, in addition to doing heavy damage face-to-face, they stand at the rear and damage from afar (like super-archers).
