Well, keep in mind I'm not saying these are the best characters or teams either. These are based on who I have and who I feel works well together. My hope when I post these is not that you are copying my teams, but instead seeing how the characters support each other and then you can look at your own characters and look for similar setups. For example, one current trend is a slash team featuring Sesta AS, and it's another example of finding four characters who synergize well. I don't have any characters in that team. If you look at my earlier "superboss teams" videos, you'll see a lot of them change over time, and the older ones often make use of different characters. For example, my earliest is an Alma NS, Shion Alter, Iphi, and Radias AS team. It did very well for a long time. I'm sure it would still do well now, perhaps even moreso with Yuna SA. My teams work, but there's a lot out there that also work. Your challenge is to look at your roster and start synergizing! Feel free to ask questions along the way. I love this stuff, and many others on reddit and in other places love to help as well.

It is. In the Atelier games, you can inspect barrels and Ryza exclaims, "barrel!" There's even some atelier games where checking a number of barrels results in an achievement.

To answer my own question, I found that it was pretty easy to just farm the two bags to either side of the entrance of the room with the atelier and just make a ton of refined flour.

I don't know yet either, but my understanding is that some items can't be upgraded until you finish all of the chapters. I'm still only done with the first two chapters.

I don't, and I wish I knew an easy way to do it. Best I can suggest is to do the mythos and symphonies dungeons to max out the rewards (usually chants at the end) and to run red key dungeons as often as possible. You could always read the wiki (anothereden.wiki/w/Chant_Script) and see if there are any easy-to-get ones you may not have yet. Be sure to hit "expand" to see the full list.

The very first video I watched was this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXSplayaoJtqnMk Seven7AE being a pro, as usual. He has other videos too, Alma and Xianhua teams. After I beat him with Xianhua, I was looking around and saw that Bung Poe had basically the same team as I did (Xianhua team) and had beaten the boss months ago, and tiragooen had one close to it (but with Yakumo). m_anaden also had a Galliard/Helena team that was successful. They all made it look so easy! I think there is something to that initial calculation, maybe it changes immunity based on what hit it last or something. I also feel there's a rotation, like there were some turns where it would not do damage and others that seemed to build up to that big 100k+ hit, so it could be something that could be planned for (Chivalry/Indulgence, for example). Some days I have more time to experiment around, others less. I wanted to get back to Ryza content so I only spent about two hours on this guy. Editing was nice though; since it was a behind-the-scenes type of video, I didn't have much to cut out. I basically slapped a few segments together and exported, nice and easy.

Yeah, I can easily imagine how editing can quickly becoming a rabbit hole when it comes to time! That's why I'm always thankful for people who take time to do it! (And for videos like this, the longer format suits them great, I feel)

@@casualcronolv99 I still can't defeat Shadow of Proto Eden Core. But contrary to what you said, there are some hints on the wiki. The attack pattern is similar to Proto Eden Core on Phase 2 when you fought her on the Paradise of Imperfections episode. So it says the boss has something called a Boost Frame. This gives a Large boost to Type and Physical Res. Xianhua is not affected by the boost because her attacks are non-physical and non-type. So if you want to do damage with A!Shannon, you need to bring an ally with any of the following properties: Physical Res Down, Type Res Down or Slash Res Down. You can also bring a sidekick with Crystalline Claws equipped (this has Physical Res Down). In Seven7AE's video, Milla is critical to the strat. Because she has Whirling Assault, which has -60% Physical Res Down, which helps Galliard do tons of damage. Helena also helps with Wing Shot, adding Pierce Res Down. The only problem is I can't survive Destruction Time Layer, which is the core's thunder nuke attack. If I can just survive that, then I could defeat this hard boss.

@@MsNinian1 Gotcha, I never looked up the original fight, and it had been too long since I fought the original. I tend to bring up the superboss list on the left navigation menu, and there's no entry for his shadow. The only description is (as of today) "High HP, high multiplier resistance, troublesome status abnormalities, high firepower, many barriers, earth or non-type binding, high speed, MP damage." That destruction nuke was surprisingly powerful. I'm sure there's a rotation to be figured out that will predict when it'll be cast. Bertrand's SA skill might nullify it, or characters like Radias AS or maybe even Alma AS could be used to cheese it. Or a high HP tank like Anabel ES, perhaps...ah, too many thoughts. I might have to give this boss another go someday!

I used some sturdy branches I collected. You can get them in chapter 2 using the scythe on some of the branches on the walls of the castle.

@@hiroyuki4509 The fishing rod requires two sticky baits (which can be synthesized from two flours, which can be synthesized from two aperture wheats). The shoes require two wild leathers (which can be made from two monster hides, found in the mines).

I plan to after I finish the collab and get their SA forms! Might be a little while though, work is keeping me pretty busy for the next two weeks.

@casualcronolv99 thank you, there's a tip for easy leveling alchemy with constantly farm aperture fruits then synth them into light of aperture with them (refer to seriouslyfun's video) also their stellar are pretty easy to get compared to their grastas which a lot harder blocked on superbosses fights contrast to the other stellar awakened collabs...

I used Azami for a long time too; Victor was part of my thunder team when Oboro was the main dps. I don't have any use for NS Otoha, but her AS style restores the party hp and mp at the end of a fight. So I figure if I ever upgrade her, then my wind team will not burn through MP as much. I am using Otoha right now to remind me that this is an option down the road.

I just finished, it was actually a really good boss fight for me to talk my way through! I was unable to beat it with Shannon and Bertrand, but I was successful with Xianhua's team. Great question! I'm not sure. I do know that 80% hp qualifies for the "enhance at low hp" grasta so if the damage happens before the attack, maybe the low hp grasta activates instead. I'll check and follow up with you.

Thanks, the only new teams in this video are fire and thunder, so you could just skip to them if you are curious. I also made more of an effort to show which skills I put in which slots for consistency and for AF burst easiness. too. The rest of the teams were mainly gear and grasta tweaks, nothing mind blowing. No to Id, I pulled a few times more than normal (5) since she's a new character, but no luck with any. Pom's at 195 light now, however! I'm just shy of 4k stones now and figure I'd better save them for any new announcements in January.

I'm sure there are multiple rings we can use that would all do well. I'm not a huge fan of the rings that require farming, particularly if mats come from key dungeons. But the drakewreath ring definitely would give more to mental focus, while Dryad boosts crit damage...but like you said, if you're hitting damage cap either way, how much does it matter? :) The lepid ring might work well too, given how often the thunder team makes use of AF bursts.

Most of my hammers are not defense-based, which is what I would prefer to use for a tank. The Kuai Weight would normally be my go-to since it would give her an extra 1000 hp, but Yipha AS is using it. Since all of my other hammers are offensive oriented, I just use the best offensive hammer I have available: the elpis hammer.

I hear you; I have not tried Kaputnik or progressed very far in the tournament of wisdom. As strong as some of my characters are, it's more of a time thing for me. I don't have 2-3 hours to do 20+ attempts on some of those super-hard bosses. Maybe over winter break I'd find some time though.

I personally think she's way better with a good thunder team; Xianhua and Yakumo are likely still tops for magic if that guides your decisions any. I had a little trouble finding a decent superboss to showcase my magic team since it's lacking a tank and barrier pierce, hence my turning to the dragon God. But if you have a good thunder crew, I think she is better than Oboro and likely the best damage dealer to date for them!

@ some people beat it at release, but things are different now. Final Lavog has null attacks and so type resistance doesn’t help anymore after the Xianhua update.
