The game having buffer isn‘t the problem. The buffer should be overwritten by the last mash though. That would be best of both worlds. Allowing you so switch the action that is currently being performed next.

Good video, not sure about the animated thing though. It didn't really add anything to the video except a very low amount of personalization. No offense, of course, because in the end, the video definitely had some useful information.

The parry timing on his attacks is so wierd i always use parry a little to late because im trying to parry the hit and not the when he is about to hit

Thanks green haired anime man. I can upgrade my stats the same way I did in Bloodborne. I”ve started Elden Ring as my 2nd Souls game and wasn’t sure how the stats would change.

I think the literal ONLY issue with the video is writing off weapon parry’s. With the ability to dual wield weapons (a double curved sword bleed build for example), with the added option to parry has potential to outclass a shield parry based on the use, however parrying itself is worse. Just a thought for those wanting to still use a weapon parry. (wakizashi also can be dual wielded with katanas, and has much better active frames than curved sword or thrusting sword. Edit: I know I’m late as hell to this party but I’m trying to learn how to do this now😭

I’m a couple weeks into this game. I don’t know. I’m probably level 60 or something samurai built and this video actually was very straightforward and helped me understand every day a little bit better so I’m probably going to restart my character or maybe make a brand new one, but just getting to the requirements like you said is important.

I for some reason parry better with the parry ash of war and parry worse with carian retaliation. Felt like I was never getting parry when using it in melee.
