GM3 is a tough match up for any title holder, and for RDR as well. RDR lost to Malykhin, who is a beast. He is like Fedor Emelianenko. He literally smashed Tai Tuivasa in training a year ago.

@a_ya5555 i think GM3 does the boss' wishes and gets it done. Imagine what that would say?! ONE FC is going through some serious problems, and this would not be a good look for them. I find it very odd that RDR gets such a non-favorable matchup his first showing... not "unfavorable", but "non-favorable".

While your criticism of the Bellator title being on this card is valid, I think the rest of your apathy comes from not recognizing some of the fighters in the card. For example Zaynukov is the main sparring partner for Islam Makhachev and Ibragimov is a 19 year old prospect who also trains out of the Abdulmanap gym. Kadimogomedov is a big name in Europe who is finally stepping up to a big time promotion. We’ve also got the #1 contender for the Bellator LW title being decided with AJ vs Hughes. Keep in mind the card is in Saudi so they had to cater to the local market and they did that pretty well imo while also giving us some good universal appealing fights. Overall despite the criticism we both share for the MW title being here I think the card is a 8/10.

@evilkhamzat damn this is good info to have, but I fear only someone of your deep knowledge might understand this!!! PFL needs to do a MUCH better job of promoting this card and selling these fights. It's almost unfair that they don't, because NOW I'm interested, but unless people read THIS comment of yours, I fear the average mma fan may not bother buying this PPV!!! Final point: I'm still not 100% sure what the "SUPER FIGHT DIVISION" card is for... even with these fights, where do these fighters go after? Into a PFL season? Back to bellator? Surely this isn't a league of its own... thus I'm confused. It's why I thought it would just be massive feature fights or gimmick fights... and I still think the feature fights could help Bellator's lackluster cards!!!

@@fightinsightpodcastall fair points 👍 they’ve always been historically bad with promotion, as for the weakening of Bellator cards to boost this one I think that’s due to Don Davis not knowing if he wants to dissolve the Bellator brand or have it take over the PFL brand so we’re in this wierd limbo where they don’t know what direction to go to.

@TokenCast Unions bring both good and bad. It's a tough debate for sure, but I don't know where I stand on it... I think things like the fighter pension in California (which we detailed on Ep.155 with the assemblymember who tabled the bill) is a massive step in the right direction which doesn't even need a union! Get more states and countries to take part in THAT and we'd really be on to something!!! Go check out ep.155!!! (Also, I haven't seen Deadpool3 yet! 😱)

I was just watching a fight and I noticed Chris Leben is a judge and I knew it was too much of a coincidence for it to be a different Chris leben I always liked him since the ultimate fighter season 1 he was a slightly above a erge fighter I’m glad he could fing a job in fighting after his retirement

@Tbird-1001 not really what was said or happened. Watch the episode and see for yourself. It's a debate over lasting effects of PEDs in your system and how scientific blogs are reporting muscle memory as a result of prolonged usage. Did we have fun with it? Sure! But do you think IF someone, anyone, was using PEDs and still receiving potential benefits on a physiological scale, that it's a fair fight against someone who isn't? And couple that with someone like Holly Holm who has been under USADA for 12 years and would, through all that time, have never been able to use anything to prevent injury, aid in recovery, or heal faster? It's an interesting conversation for sure! 🤔🤔🤔

She has never been linked to performance enhancements and implying this for a click bait podcast is exactly why your content is trash

@Tbird-1001 definitely the promo reel was made to get clicks. 😅😅😅 But the discussion, even in said reel, used "if" and discussed the overall issue as noted above. Also, note that, more often than not, I'm arguing with people online in defense of athletes, as I disagree with people that say 100% (or the vast vast majority) are on PEDs. In this instance, we are talking about an Olympic gold medalist, where we know many many athletes have tested positive. If she was able to do so while clean, even more amazing of a feat and kudos to her!!! If you believe more often than not fighters are clean, then I'm very happy we agree on that at least! 🙏🏻
