Love it! Richard Lloyd was to Television what Gary Duncan was to Quicksilver Messenger Service. Unsung heroes who's unique guitar contributions were integrate to their band's sound but, for some reason were unfairly overshadowed by Tom Verlaine and John Cipollina respectively.

What an awesome guitarist Richard still is...thank you for this video. The only thing is...he was never a singer. That's not a slight; just how it is. It must have been hard playing second fiddle, when arguable Richard was the better guitarist. And further, hard to forge ahead when the first album was one of the most iconic albums of all time. Keep playing man, you still mean a lot to so many! 🎶🎶🎶

Crazy thing is Tom is a poor singer as well... He just has higher register that fits the songs he wrote. Richard is a good singer I find his voice beautiful. Listen to Alchemy if you can!

His voice is adequate. Was there some other other rquirement? Cause it wasnt about "good"singing.

It's as capable as or better than Verlaine's vocals. Richard's voice is well suited to his own songs, as shown on his first solo album, ALCHEMY, a wonderful record!
