Do you know when they’re restocking and if they are moving the fish back in that they moved to the other pool when they drained it?

They will be restocking, but I do not know when. I expect it will take some time to fill, so sometime in the fall at the earliest? I doubt they are moving fish back from the other pool. My understanding is they will be starting over.

Fish species generally considered undesirable in a body of water. In this case, the species are carp, suckers, and bullheads.

Ive had my Pack since the mid 90s. Its paddled class II-III whitewater, ponds to reservoirs, and rivers & creeks of all sizes.. Right now its totally rigged out for bass fishing on the lake w stabilizers and a trolling motor. I have a nice pedal fishing kayak for sale because I like my old Pack better. Its a little 33lb wonder. I still single blade it, darn kayak paddle always gets me and the canoe wet.

Does anyone have a map for the Wye cave I want to know if I can go any further but today I got to a spot that I'm basically going to need a rope attached in case if I get stuck so a few buddies can pull me up but wasn't sure if it was even worth it

I am currently considering pulling the trigger on this boat's exact twin. I won't have the chance to paddle it before buying it. I already have an OT Pack, but I want something more efficient. Have you had a chance to paddle it in windy or wavy conditions? I live in Maine, and plan to use it mostly for fishing and some canoe camping. Is the bottom of the boat good and stiff versus "oil can-y"?

I would say less oil canny than my pack, but more flex than my Old Town Sportsman 119. I have used it only a few times and have not had a problem. I would expect the same wind challenges I face with my Kevlar canoe. The key is weight. I sometimes move my camera equipment behind, sometimes in front, depending on conditions.

Kip, I too find the "reverse" image in selfie mode to be annoying. The lens which gives the viewer the same view as if he where facing you, would be my choice for those segments of any video.

I think it looks good. I used my cell phone all the time for vlogging. One minor irritating thing on some phones the selfy lens reverses the scene like a mirror. Do not understand why this is. Mine does not. Quality looks great to me. Have a great week

I've had mixed results with accurate location using my phone. The other day it was off by 1/4 mile. I started carrying my hand held GPS for my main location/tracking tool.

Why the inaccuracies? I have been trying to determine which is actually accurate - my handheld GPS or one of the apps. And if an app, which one? The reason for wanting to know is to reduce my pack weight, if possible.

Heck we all knew the swan video near the end would turn out great as you are one of the best around Kip!!! We need to have you come up here to Worth County during the spring to disperse camp and film and shoot the migration up here in the Prairies. We get all kinds of migratory ducks on the spring and would have a hayday!! I'll keep an eye on when those ponds and segments of Elk Creek Marsh are iced out.

Technically they are considered "migratory" as they are covered under the Federal Migratory Bird Act.

The swans? Yes, but they have been around all winter.

@@MrNikonshooter Both Trumpeter and Tundra swans will migrate south early, often in September. Yes, some individual birds will reside year-round, As a whole, these are technically considered "migratory" even if some individual birds are resident birds. The law makes no distinction.

Nice updaMounds. I know the main purpose of Sweets is Wildlife, (Waterfowl primary) habitat, but since a bunch of people like to fish it, one would think they would have also tried for a fish habitat stamp grant to take a few dozers out there and create some deeper holes while pushing dirt up to create nesting mounds. Especially since it's been so dry out there and now would be ideal time to do it before they reflood it.

Early last summer a friend of mine from Tripoli told me about this trail and dang is this a nice trail or what!! Bikers, walkers, and roller bladers will all love this trail. When we went, they just got done doing prairie burns but still did see some turkeys. The only thing I wondered was how bad the mosquitoes are?
