Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. "Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbot" in German. :-/

The reason why you get smooth lines on your letters is because you’re using a powerful router, I see other videos the guys use not too powerful ones their lines are rough, so yeah use a powerful router it will cut easily

Would it have been easier to start with a larger wider piece of wood so the router can easily rest at the level of the letters, then after the job is done you can saw off the excess to your chosen size..??
@fishtank5050
@fishtank5050 6 жыл бұрын
What I also do if the wood is already cut is get the same size wood and put it along side the bit you are carving,this allows the router to work on a bigger surface..

What bit do you use on the Miller's and Garage background? I really like How it looks instead of just flat
@jhmiller76
@jhmiller76 6 жыл бұрын
I believe I used a 1/4" core box bit on all of the larger lines, including the entire background. Something similar to this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NAE39TW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

@jhmiller76

I almost always use the Rust-oleum American Accents 2X Ultra Cover Primer. It covers well, does't bleed much into the wood grain, and when dry, it sands fairly well without clogging the sand paper.
@LeggoMyEggo89
@LeggoMyEggo89 6 жыл бұрын
J Miller I tried that couple days ago and the paint bled into the wood deeply and I was not able to sand it down because the paint was clogginh the sand paper. What bit did you use for the texture?
