Lovely rendition of an old classic. Bruce's mother died in January of this year. This surely was one of her memories in her final days as she thought about what a blessing Bruce has been in her life. ♥

Elvis was not recognised for being an amazing self taught musician, he couldn't read music but learnt the paino and played a mean rhythm guitar. He knew he couldn't write songs (I believe he could have, his words were always well thought out and expressive when speaking) but he said he could not and had only just managed to get his high school diploma. The man was a genius with his voice and his gifted vocal range. It's hurtful when people degrade him or say that he stole black music when all the evidence from the time from the people who knew him ALL say differently. I'm going to listen to them. I believe James Brown, BB King, Cisse Houston and all the greats of the time. Nobody who knows Elvis or has dug deep into his music and the kindness of this human being can say that he wasn't extremely talented. He deserved respect and a better end to the tragic end he had. I'm 48 and have only been conscious of him my whole life, but I've taught my kids about him and hope they will trach their kids of this mythical legend who went through his short life helping anyone and everyone. People took advantage of his humility and generosity. Love him more each day. Long live the King ❤
