I really can’t complain cause on indeed I got like 5 job offers due to my experience in two different fields . One field 11 years of work experience the other 9 years . My biggest issue is finding one that works around community college . After two months found one that’s perfect but it’s not off indeed it’s through good friend of mine .

Just to tell my shopping experience 2 days into this strike. I went to two different stores here in Houston. The water aisle is low on cases of water. There are empty shelves and the bread aisle is low as well. My brother do not tell me I do not know what I am talking about. I am living in it right now. I pray everyone is doing ok out here as this strike continues. I had to go to multiple stores and I knew I would have to. I pray y'all households make it work. Continue to pray and keep God first. This is nothing new to the Father. He saw this coming before we did and he is making a way for us right now. Please continue to pray for the dock workers and their families. I am not sure if you ever been to Houston, but it is the 3rd largest city in the US. A strike like this hurts because there is no way the supply we have here will take care of the households in Houston. The supply will run out and we will drive to other towns and cities just to get things for the household.

Stop listening to the media. They do not tell the accurate story. Of course if your store you shop at does not get their goods from any of the 14 US ports, then you are not affected. The Houston economy gets their goods from these ports daily so we here in Houston are feeling to affects. Gas to clothes to food, to anything that is imported here off the ship. That is good for you and your household that the stores you consume at are fine. I do believe that we will be sending drivers yall way to get goods. I see that happening for sure.

The ILA strike strarted at midnight so my brother prices are going to go up higher. My brother 14 ports closed from Boston all the way down to Houston. If the stores you shop at get their goods imported by way of any of those ports, well they no longer can until the strike is over and the ports open back up.
