That glider does not support rear riser control and is definately no 2 riser,. So exept deforming your profile thats not going to be much of any use.
@glideamerica8 ай бұрын
If you are on full bar you can't use brakes. Rear risers, and weight shift works well. It also allows you to feel the bumps, in the air, through the risers. It is a good tool to have in the toolbox.
@TONYPARAMOTOR9 ай бұрын
hi. ? at 4.08 youve got speed bar on and your pulling d risers with your hand? while holding brake toggle.? what the purpose of doing this?
@glideamerica9 ай бұрын
That is a great question Tony. If you notice, I am on full speedbar, and my motor torques me to the left, so I hang a bit of weight on the rear riser to keep me on course. It might look like I am putting a lot, but not really. I fly a Paragliding wing, vs a PPG wing, and I use bar all the time. When on more than half bar, you need to use rear riser steering, rather than brakes, because you risk collapse, when you pull brake on full bar.

Thing that puts me off paramotoring is the fact you have a machine that runs on petrol strapped to your back. Any engine is capable of exploding and catching fire and the petrol tank is inches away from the engine. If that engine goes bang when you're up there, you've had it. Your reserve, that's going to be of no use, especially when it's on fire, along with your harness and wing..

Have you ever seen someone's shoot not reopen
@glideamerica Жыл бұрын
It always reopens with that maneuver, due to the design of the wing. Keep in mind, that this is a controlled situation, and the pilot is being shown how to perform it correctly, from his instructor. If you notice, he tells him to counter break, because the pilot was briefed, on the maneuver, before the flight. Every pilot should know how to fly their wing, and know how to control it, in many ways. That is why expert instruction is so important. Thank you for your question.
