I'm here in Jan 2025. Yes A Clip of Jimmy Stewart from the 1960s movie "The Rare Breed". Great Movie, Great Cast.! 😮❤🎶🎵🎶 Ghost Riders In The Sky written in 1948 by Death Valley Ranger Stan Jones. Who didc eventually end up in Hollywood, Writing songs in the 1950s for John Wayne Western Movies. And Stan also sang some of these Movie Songs. Stan had a Shot Cameo Movie Shot in the Horse Soldiers 1958 John Wayne Movie. "I Left My Love",That Song was Sung throughout the whole Movie. And Stan Wrote the Ending Song and Sings it 🎵 in the Searchers 1954 John Wayne Movie when John Wayne "Walks Away" at the End Of the Movie. Filmed in Monument Valley, like alot of Western movies were filmed in the 1950s, 1960s, and Beyond! 😮❤🎵🎶🎵🐎🐴🐎💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️

A wonderful Moore's melody- a combination of Thomas Moore's plaintive lyrics and an old Irish melody.

OUTSTANDING! The best version of this song I've ever heard! All the other ones out there are sung by singers from the UK, and usually sung by ethic folk singers. Yeah, this sounds American but it's really vibrant and bright, versus "belting out an old little British ditty".

This is the best version, but surprisingly, the Blues Brothers do it really well, too!

This was one of the records we brought from Canada to the UK in 1949. Still got it. Confused English people when I sang it, aged 5 or 6.
