Piper would have been an AMAZING Children's show host, or a villain. I never knew he and Pee Wee Herman shared screentime. Rest in Peace Piper, Pee-Wee, and Herve.

@@QuentinDude Indeed it is, I just wish he'd chosen better projects afterwards. He was AMAZING as the Maniac in It's Always Sunny, such a darkly comedic parody of broken wrestlers.

Incredible to see but it would be even better to *HEAR*. What happened to the audio track?
@MakeworkProductions11 ай бұрын
Check your audio setup. It's playing for me fine. Currently viewing on my phone connected to a Bluetooth speaker.
@SourceOfWill11 ай бұрын
@@MakeworkProductions Glad your bluetooth speaker works. I expected it played fine for you or else you would not have uploaded it. Fortunately the problem is not my audio setup, since other youtube videos are perfectly audible (Except this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIPKqmSLa56fqMk which has the same source and has exactly the same problem). There *is* sound, it is just quieter than a whisper and so noisy that increasing the volume makes it harder to hear rather than easier. I thought it was a codec problem but even downloading it and transcoding the audio from opus to aac doesn't fix it. Too bad because it looks like interesting footage. Possibly to do with OPUS codec not capturing gain info.
@SourceOfWill11 ай бұрын
@@MakeworkProductions LOL I assumed it was playing fine for you or else you would not have uploaded it. ;) I finally got a moment to dig into this and the problem is that although the audio is in stereo format, all the audio is in the left channel. I copied the left channel into the right channel and now it is not so quiet. Still got a slight whine but at least I can hear it without turning the volume up all the way and putting my ear to the speaker. If you would like to reupload the fixed version you can download a copy here: drive.google.com/file/d/1U_ROI3QaI3wsPb_pYTZ1kQn2EqCWWY7e/view?usp=sharing Thanks again for sharing and especially for saving this piece of TV history.

I went to a convention before before they exploded, it was quiet and intimate, but who had the biggest line of fans of them all? Our man Roddy. He treated each fan with such grace and banter who waited to see him - it drove Michael Berryman (at the next table) sick to the point he was smoldering his head into his palms. Alice Cooper sat laughing and gasping around the corner at the whole spectacle. Priceless. Love you Roddy.

Wow, how have I never seen this hidden gem before, at least that I recall . This was the year I discovered the WWF and sports entertainment/pro wrestling. I know people will counter with the attitude era but I think the rock n wrestling era is the most important era ever in the company and business altogether because if it flopped the WWF was pretty much belly up right along with it. Vince McMahon took a huge gamble and it paid off as we still see in 2022. I even recently binge watched the cartoon for the first time since I was a 9 year old kid plopped in front of the big ass tube television set on saturday mornings and still enjoyed it immensely at 45 . 😁😂🤣
